COPA90 Presents: That’s The Tea

Off the back of a trailblazing 2019 World Cup in France, COPA90 are proud to introduce our latest show: That’s The Tea.

The concept of this pioneering series is to shine a spotlight on the women’s game, bringing to life the stories behind top players, influencers and game-changers. This summer’s international tournament was groundbreaking, but women’s football deserves to be continually celebrated, not just once every four years.

The name, That’s The Tea, evolved from the Britsh phrase meaning: ‘and that’s the deal’. It offers an unapologetic statement which ties into our beliefs around pushing the barriers of women’s football coverage. For COPA90, football is football. Regardless of who’s playing.

The inaugural episode was hosted by renowned sports presenter, Nicole Holliday, as she’s joined by West Ham midfielder, Julia Simic, DJ and former Chelsea baller, Monki, and Rachel O’Sullivan, a representative from women’s football platform, Girls on the Ball.

The group discuss all things women’s football – covering the major talking points from both The FA WSL and NWSL – and offer up entertaining anecdotes from their experiences within the game.

On the agenda this week: how to keep WSL attendances on the rise, reaction to the UWCL draw, NWSL belters and much more.

That’s The Tea will live right here on, so be sure to stay tuned for more amazing shows.
