Vivianne Miedema (NED)
Despite being only 22, Vivianne Miedema has established herself as one of the best strikers in world football. Vivianne made her professional debut for Heerenveen in the Dutch top flight aged just 15, becoming the youngest ever player in the Eredivisie Vrouwen. She went on to become the league’s top scorer that season with 39 goals, earning herself a move to Bayern Munich where she formed part of the infamous unbeaten squad that won Bayern the Bundesliga for the first time since 1976. Now at Arsenal, Vivianne has already smashed the Women’s Super League goal record for a season, with 7 games yet to play. Also a published author, having written a series of children’s books to inspire young girls to play football, Vivianne cites her family, many of whom played professionally, as her own inspiration.
