Liverpool's Balotelli & Man City's Dzeko to Light up Serie A?

This week’s transfer special focuses on the ins and outs of Serie A. Juventus have already made sure to put their Champions League Final defeat behind them, choosing to strengthen their ranks with the signings of strikers Mario Mandzukić and Paulo Dybala. It is the potential arrival of two Premier League strikers, however, that has got everyone talking. With Man City's maligned Edin Dzeko being linked to Roma, and Liverpool's similarly criticised Mario Balotelli seemingly up for a return to Italy, it looks like the Serie A is well on the way for a return to the top of European football. For Man City, the sale of Dzeko will likely prove a contentious decision. Though Dzeko has mostly proved effective as a sub for virtually his whole career at the Etihad, his importance in both of City's successful title run-ins is undeniable. Saying this, City will not let him go without signing at least one striker. The capture of Raheem Sterling will provide a much-needed lift for a seemingly uninspired front line, and Dzeko's departure could pave the way for another exciting striker to reignite a potentially very exciting attack.Balotelli's career at Liverpool looks to be heading toward an abbreviated end, and few Liverpool fans will be upset at the sight of the Italian striker heading back to where he began his career. Balotelli's talent and potential is hard to deny, but once again he has found it difficult to settle in a new team and proved too difficult to manage. Could he find the form he once had at Inter?
