In honor of opening weekend, these are the top 5 sickest new kits you'll see on the pitch this season, in no particular order.
A grey kit for the Whitecaps, with a steel-inspired design that gives their alternate kit a little extra kick. Plus, extra style points for including fans wearing the kids in the release.
Black and yellow and beautiful. Hopefully it’s not the last kit they ever wear...
NEW YORK RED BULLS
Even if the kit itself had ended up being really awful, Red Bulls fans could've still taken solace in the fact that they finally, finally got the all-red home kit they wanted. (Well, besides the one that Robles has worn.) It's just an added bonus that it's actually quite nice and not ugly at all.
It's a secondary kit that perfectly represents both the city (the "peach" orange for Georgia) and the club (the graphic mimicking the roof of Mercedes-Benz Stadium). What more could you want?
Any kit without a sponsor automatically gives itself a boost, but the rest of the Dynamo alternate kit — the contrast of the bright orange on black, the gradient adding some dynamism, excuse the pun, to what could have been a quite boring dual-color kit — could have easily stood as a sick kit on its own.
