5 BEST 2017/18 EPL KITS | SICK KIT FRIDAY
Ahead of the Premier League kicking off later today, here are the top 5 kits you'll be seeing this season.
Part of Puma's Step Out collection, Arsenal's third kit is beautiful – the neon pink highlights, close enough yet far enough from the traditional red, serving as striking accents on an otherwise jet-black kit. Especially nice is that streak on the collar. Let's hope there are a lot of color clashes in matches this season so it gets a lot of wear.
Of all of this season's retro-inspired kits, Liverpool's might be the best. Between the colors — a deep, old-school red and all-gold crest — the simple collar and the pinstripes, it's classy and clean.
This year's Watford kits are a huge improvement over last year's, all three of which were just plain and single-colored. This year's away kits are a much redder red, with a striking, slanted black stripe down the stomach — which adds a nice element without distracting as much as a seatbelt or chest stripe. This is the kind of kit you definitely don't get relegated in.
Speaking of retro kits, Huddersfield's makes a shout for second best. The "flash kit" with electric hoops is modeled after their kit from 1991-1993, in which they famously game back from 4-0 down to draw a Division Three match with Bury FC 4-4.
WEST BROM (AWAY)
On the other end of the spectrum from Huddersfield's alternative kit is West Brom's away. Some might say it's too simple, but it's another one where the colors make the kit. Or maybe we're just red-biased.
