KITH Already Contenders for Kit of the Season | Sick Kit Friday

Welcome to another edition of #SickKitFriday! Here are the sickest kits that dropped this week.

Traditional black and white stripes are so last year.Based on the kit they donned for four years (1980-1984), Serie A side Udinese Calcio’s new third kit is quite unique. It combines the black-and-white pattern with a gradient effect, with a thick black stripe on the chest and on the sleeves fading into the white body surrounding. And to match the gold in the club crest, the kitmaker logo will also be gold.

The sponsorship on the front adds the only pop of color.

League 2 side Yeovil Town also puts a new twist on an old classic with their 2017/18 home shirt.

The club usually boasts Celtic-style green and white horizontal stripes, but next year they’ll be donning jagged stripes that almost look like steps you’d climb up the front of the shirt. To add to the whimsy of the design, one sleeve is entirely white while the other is entirely green. The three stars above the club crest each stand for 5 seasons in the EFL, to mark the club’s 15th straight year of league football.

Amateur soccer teams Kith Cobras (NYC) and Kith Flamingos (Miami) have partnered with Adidas to release a beautiful collection of gear. The collection includes specialized Adidas cleats and sneakers, like the PureControl and the UltraBoost, as well as four unique kits.

The white home kit and the snakeskin-design black away kit belong to the Cobras, while the grey striped and pink aptly belong to the Flamingos. The white, black, and grey kits all feature differently-colored Adidas sleeve stripes that match the mismatched color socks.
