The Sickest NASL Kits That Dropped This Season
The 2017 NASL kicks off tomorrow! These are the 4 sickest kits that dropped ahead the new season.
NEW YORK COSMOS
This is a year of firsts for the New York Cosmos: first season in Brooklyn, first season with Rocco, and now first non-white home kit. Well, at least since 1974.This only white on this year’s Inaria home shirt is in the collar, while the rest is a dark blue base peppered with a gradient of green dots.
Instead, this year the traditional white will be used as part of the away kit. To round it out is the Cosmos-green goalkeeper kit that features some pretty unique camo-print sleeves.
For their first year in action, the SF Deltas debuted a pretty sick home kit that finally brings us a dual-colored gradient that isn’t difficult to look at. The shirt fades from red in the center to black on the flank, utilizing the two club colors. The all-white crest pops on top of this color scheme.Even cooler, the team let the fans vote on the jersey designs back in August, so you know that they’re going to love them (or, at the very least, the 30% that voted for this one out of “an array of designs” will).
NORTH CAROLINA FC
With blue and red and white and gold in their crest, North Carolina’s had a lot to choose from for their home kit this year. What they went with was a subtly striped navy top accented by gold on the sleeves and in the Adidas side stripes. And while the red of the Circle K sponsorship is pretty bright, it does more or less reflect the red in the crest and keep it all within the NCFC color scheme.
Speaking of bright...presenting the Miami FC kits for this season.
The turquoise front of the home kit is topped off with by an orange collar and sleeves, as well as a unique wave-like design on the lower left. If that’s not enough orange for you, the side stripes of the accompanying shorts and the socks will both be orange. The away kit disregards the orange altogether and instead uses the turquoise as only an accent. The third kit opts for a more muted blue, but the orange returns on the sleeves and collar.
