FIFA18 World Champion Msdossary has signed a landmark deal with Roc Nation Sports. He will now represent the management agency in the upcoming FIFA20 Global Series.
Mosaad Al-Dossary, better known by his gaming tag ‘Msdossary’, recently became the first eSports player to be signed by Roc Nations Sports.
The company, which was founded by world famous Rap artist Jay-Z in 2013, currently represents a variety of athletes, including NFL running backs, Saquon Barkley and Angeles Rams, and NBA stars, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.
The management agency also has a few footballers on its books, with Kevin De Bruyne, Jerome Boateng, Romelu Lukaku and Axel Witsel all affiliated with Roc Nation.
Msdossary will be aiming to bounce back from his FIFA19 eWorld Cup final loss to Mo Auba last July, a defeat which cost him the chance to retain his World title.
Regardless, the Saudi-born player has made a cool $526k from his eSports career thus far, and will have his eyes firmly on this years tournament-winning prize of $250k.
Speaking exclusively to COPA90, Msdossary said, “It’s a really great step for me. They [Roc Nation] have some so many superstars, so to be the first eSports player is really special. I’m sure together we can create something really special.”
The road to this year's FIFA20 eWorld Cup commences this weekend, with players looking to qualify through the FUT Cup. For Msdossary and Roc Nation the goal is clear: reclaim the crown and once again become the undisputed King of FIFA.
