Forget the Politics, Let's Play: Welcome to the Liberté Cup

The Liberté Cup is a 7-a-side football tournament set up for refugees in Grand Synthe, France, and set to take place on the 10th of September 2016.

It’s not a political campaign, it’s not a charity and it’s not asking to open borders. The aim is simple. To change the way refugees are viewed in the media. They don’t need your pity, they want your support. The time has come for a football event without corruption.

Whether you are a fan, a referee, a coach or a player, being around a pitch is a time of Liberté. Football is a remedy of your everyday life.

Welcome to The Liberté Cup.
