Ozil and Fabregas, the two leading assist makers from this season and last, have become the first players to pass 1000 passes in the opposition half this season. Thanks to the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index, the Official Player Rating Index of the Barclays Premier League, we now know that Arsenal's Mesut Ozil and Chelsea's Cesc Fabregas were the first two players to complete over 1,000 passes in the opposition half this season. Take a look at the full stats below! As impressive as these statistics are, it is hardly surprising given the two's history. Both Fabregas and Ozil have been prolific assist makers over the last few seasons, with Fabregas racking up 18 assists in the Premier League last year and Ozil hitting 17 assist already this season. With roughly a third of the season left, the German star only needs 4 more assists to break Thierry Henry's season record of 20. Can he do it and propel Arsenal to the Premier League trophy?
