Stories From The Terraces: Supporters Show Their Colours And Their Strength

Throughout the last three decades football authorities have treated football supporters as a distinct phenomenon, separate society at large. This weekend was a unique one for terraces around the world. This weekend was truly on of the most fiery and dramatic weekends on the terraces in recent memory.

Here are just a few of our favorite moments from the terraces: The Genoa supporters were unable to show this banner at their last derby against Sampdoria, but his weekend against Cesena, they unveiled this remake of a banner they famously displayed 20 years ago.

#t=68 Legia Warsa and Lech Poznan have always been heavy rivals.  Their passion was on display this weekend as they clashed for the cup final.  The level of intricate choreographies and support is evidence that these supporters groups are certainly amongst the strongest in Europe today.
