Who will qualify in the Champions League? | Sausages & Caviar's Predictions

Finding it hard to work out who will be qualifying for the last 16 of the Champions League this year?

Here's our breakdown of what needs to happen to keep your favourite team in the competition plus we have made our own predictions...

Group A

Group A is already sown up with two teams clearly at cut above the competition, Real Madrid and PSG. Even with the scrutiny on Rafa he has guided his side to top of their group.

Sausages & Caviar Prediction

1st: Real Madrid, 2nd: Paris Saint-Germain

Group B

Group B is very open with 3 teams still being able to qualify. Wolfsburg are the favorites to come out of the group as they only need a point from their game at home against Manchester United. The Reds need to beat Wolfsburg to stay in the competiton. PSV only need to beat bottom of the group CSKA to go through to the knockout stages. It will be very interesting to see how they get on...

1st: VfL Wolfsburg, 2nd: PSV Eindhoven

Group C

Group C is almost wrapped up. There is one game that can change the qualifying of the competition. Athletico Madrid play Benfica tonight at the Estádio da Luz with the winner grabbing the top spot. However a draw will mean Benfica will top the group and they'll hope to secure the easier game in the next round.

1st: Benfica, 2nd: Atletico Madrid

Group D

Group D is a straight shoot out for the top spot of the group. Manchester City must beat Monchengladbach and hope that last year's finalists Juventus loose against Sevile so that the Manchester side finish on top. This is an unlikely story however as Juve are in great form in Serie A and should carry that form forward.

1st: Juventus, 2nd: Manchester City

Group E

Group E, who will join Barcelona in the hat for the next round? It could be any of the three teams in the group. The easiest outcome to find is that if Roma win they are through. However if they do drop points things become rather interesting. Bayer Leverkusen have to beat Barcelona at home and pray Roma only draw. Bate Borisov need to beat Roma firstly and then rely on Barcelona to beat Bayer Leverkusen. Lots of if and butts in this group but who goes through only time will tell.

1st: Barcelona, 2nd: A.S. Roma

Group F

Group F has one spot left open for qualification with Olympiacos and Arsenal fighting it out for 2nd place. With Bayern Munchen dominating the group and Arsenal's inconsistent results. Olympiacos have a huge change of qualifying, as they only have to get a point from the game against the Gunners. We wonder what hashtag will be trending on Twitter tonight? #WengerIn #WengerOut

1st: Bayern Munchen, 2nd: Arsenal

Group G

Another open group is Group G with three out of the four teams can still qualify. Chelsea have the easiest route into the last 16 as they need a point to qualify. Dynamo Kiev need to beat the less superior Tel-Aviv who seem to take a pounding every time they walk on the pitch in the Champions League. Porto's game against Chelsea is a must win for them, so the game being at Stamford Bridge gives them a big chance...

1st: Dynamo Kiev, 2nd: Chelsea

Group H

Last but not least it's Group H. For most English football fans this group has suddenly become interesting. As our newest and potentially brightest footballing export G. Neville's and his new team Valencia face a must win game against Lyon, anything else and they are out. Gent need to beat Zenit to guarantee their progress however with Zenit dominating the group holding the only 100% record in the competition this will be a tough task.
